Thought I'd try to get out ahead of the snow this weekend and putter around at some old sites with the new 'tector again.
Managed 1919-D and 1946-D Wheats, and a 1920-D Merc. The radio token is from a local hospital. These were used back in the 1940's-1950's for pay radios that were installed in hospital rooms. The radios were made by Dahlberg, and needed these tokens to play them (one token for one hour). My how times have changed.

Very nice finds!! That token is really cool. I don't find many old tokens.

Nice finds.  Love the token. The only one that I've found, was a Bus token, and it was recent.  |
