Well it looks like it's going to be cold and wet for tomorrow's Mini-Hunt. Dress warmly and wear something to keep the moisture out because the hunt starts at 9:00am, rain or shine. There will be no refunds for folks who signed up but don't show-up, just more prizes for the rest of us.
Sign-in starts at 8:30am (maybe a touch earlier if I can get up on time) at the small shelter and if you haven't signed up yet, you can sign up tomorrow morning. Entry fee is $5.00. Remember, this a closed hunt, i.e., members-only.
Don't forget to bring some food to share for the pot-luck afterwards. I'll be providing hot coffee and some baked beans. You may want to bring some paper plates and plastic utensils. I'll have some, but can't promise enough to go around.

Looking forward to some fun. I will be wearing everything I own to keep warm. This means I won't be able to stoop down to dig targets so I'll have to employ some "soft-touch" to dig them for me. Yeah, that will happen all right...

Although the weather was a bit uncooperative, the hunt itself was a success. Thanks goes out to Mike J. (huntmaster) for organizing the hunt, to all that donated prizes and for the hearty souls that showed up to brave the elements. I look forward to the next mini-hunt!
