As I am a relative noob to metal detecting I bought a 250, with standard coil. I have found a couple silvers but mostly clads. My question is I see the larger coils for sale in addition the dd coil available for this detector, are they worth the "upgrade" cost or is the standard eliptical that comes with it as good as it gets? If they are better should I get the larger eliptical which I believe is 8X10 or the dd which looks like the size I have only in the dd pattern?

I have the DD coil on my Ace 250 and yes it goes deeper and is worth it. |
